Cuckold chat, often shortened to cuck chat, is a written conversation between adults about a couple in which one partner likes to imagine, or to hear about, the other with someone else. On ChatNow it has two rooms of its own, and you come in as a guest: this is a free cuckold chat with no sign-up, so a username, your gender, your age and your town are all you give. ChatNow is a free chat with no sign-up for adults aged 18 and over, and you give your age when you join.
Below: what each room is for, how to come in alone or as a couple, what the rules say about a partner who is not in the conversation, and what is deleted once you leave.
Three rooms for it, in ChatNow's own words
All three are listed under "Adult rooms" in the room list. ChatNow gives each one a short description, and nothing more:

These rooms are shared with other countries, and the conversations in them are often in French. English is welcome there, but we cannot say how many of the people writing are in the UK, so this page promises no British crowd. The one room where English is required is "English speakers".
Coming in alone or as a couple
The form lists five genders: Man, Woman, Trans, CD and Couple. Two partners writing from the same screen can pick "Couple", so that the people they talk to know it is a couple at the keyboard.
On a profile, others see the username, the gender, the age and the town, with a distance between towns that is only approximate and never based on GPS. A guest gives no email address, so there is none to show.
Alone or together, private messages follow the same rule: "A first message must not be sexual unless invited." When someone writes to you in a way you do not want, "Block" ends it straight away.
The partner who is not in the conversation
In these rooms, people often talk about someone who never logs in: a partner, husband or wife at home. That person keeps every right, and the Community Rules spell it out for pictures: "Every person shown must be an adult who consented to the image being taken and shared on ChatNow."
- Their yes, for each picture. Agreeing to a photo at home is not agreeing to see it posted in a room; ask about each one before you share it.
- Nothing that leads back to them. Even with their agreement, crop out a face, a tattoo or a room someone could recognise.
- Keep their details out. A name, a workplace or a street has no place in the chat: anyone reading can copy what you write.
- If the photo is of you. A picture of you posted without your agreement can be reported at once with "Report", which sits on every image.
In England and Wales, sharing an intimate image of someone without their consent, or threatening to, is a criminal offence; the sections of the law are listed on our page about consent in the adult rooms.
Guest or free account: what changes here
A guest already takes part in all three rooms; a free account adds pictures in private and a webcam of your own:

The free account asks for an email address, a password, a date of birth and a gender, or a Google sign-in. Premium is optional and paid, and it never renews automatically.
What is deleted when you leave, and what is not
- As a guest, your messages, voice notes and photos are deleted 24 hours after you leave.
- Connection logs (IP address, timestamps, device identifier) stay for 12 months.
- Reports and moderation decisions are kept for 12 months too.
- Webcams are not recorded by ChatNow, though someone watching can still capture the picture on their own device.

Money, pressure and threats: the warning signs
Some accounts in adult rooms are after money, not conversation. The pattern repeats: a quick and flattering exchange, a request for photos, an invitation to move to another app, then a demand to pay. When that demand comes with a threat to send your pictures to people you know, it is sextortion.
- Pay nothing. No money, no gift card and no code, whatever the reason given.
- Stop sending. No more pictures once someone pushes for them.
- Report, then block. Tap "Report", then "Block"; by email, write to safety@chatnow.fr.
- Note the username and the time. A guest's messages disappear 24 hours after the guest leaves.

Before you come in: your questions
- Does it cost anything to chat?
- No. A guest chats for free, with no account. Premium is an optional paid add-on: it never renews automatically, and you do not need it for these rooms.
- Do I need an account or an email address?
- No. The form asks for a username of 3 to 20 characters, a gender, an age of 18 or over and a town. An email address only comes in with a free account, which stays optional.
- Can we come in as a couple?
- Yes. "Couple" is one of the five genders on the form, and the "Couples" room sits next to "Cuckold" and "Wife sharing" under "Adult rooms".
- Can I post a photo of my partner?
- Only if your partner has agreed to that photo being shared on ChatNow. An intimate picture also belongs only in an adult room, or with someone who clearly agreed to receive it. A guest can post photos in a room from the UK or Ireland, never in private.
- Will the people in these rooms speak English?
- Sometimes. The rooms are shared with other countries and their conversations are often in French. English is required in one room only, "English speakers".
- Are any of the profiles run by AI?
- No profile is created by ChatNow, and there is no AI companion to talk to. ChatNow uses AI for moderation: a classifier checks each message once it is sent. Accounts faked by other people do exist; report them and they are excluded.
- How long do my messages stay once I have left?
- As a guest, they are deleted 24 hours after you leave. Connection logs are kept for 12 months, and anyone you write to can still copy what you send.
